Land Between The Lakes fire updates
Wildfire conditions The Forest Service asks campers to take extreme care with any campfire sites, cooking activities, and open flames in Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area today and Wednesday. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Red Flag Warning for the national recreation area and surrounding communities. High winds, dry fuels, and low humidity increases the likelihood for wildfire activity in the area. The last wildfire at Land Between The Lakes occurred on February 28, 2016.
